Privacy Policy
The short version
- There is no account and no sign-in. We do not know who you are.
- Your videos are recorded, analyzed and stored only on your iPhone. They are never uploaded.
- The app records video only. It never uses the microphone.
- The only data that leaves the phone is anonymous usage statistics: which features are used, never media, pose data or scores.
- You can delete everything the app keeps in one tap, in Settings.
1. Who we are
Aura Clash: Rate Your Aura (“Aura Clash”, “the app”) is published by Pwnera SAS (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with information on your device and the small amount of anonymous data it sends. Questions go to admin@pwnera.com.
2. What the app does with your camera
When you start a battle, the app asks for camera access and records a short clip, between five seconds and one minute depending on the mode. The clip is video only: the app never requests or uses the microphone, so nothing is heard.
The clip is analyzed by your iPhone using Apple's on-device body-pose detection. The analysis produces a small set of numbers describing movement, posture and timing, and from those the app computes your Aura Score. No frame of the video, and none of the pose data, is sent to us or to anyone else.
3. What is stored on your iPhone
Everything the app keeps lives in the app's own storage on your device:
| Data | Kept | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Battle records (challenge, mode, score, tier, verdict, date) | Until you delete them | Your history and stats |
| The recorded clip | Deleted when you close the result, unless you tap Save Replay or turn on “Always save replays” | Replays and share videos |
| One still image of your best moment | With the battle record | Share image, even when the clip was not saved |
| Pose data (joint positions over time, no image) | With the battle record | The skeleton video and replays |
| Settings (language, replay preference, card style, freestyle length) | Until you change them | Preferences |
| A random installation identifier | In the iOS keychain, not synced to iCloud | Tells one install apart from another for anonymous analytics |
The installation identifier is a random value generated on first launch. It is not derived from your device, your Apple ID or anything about you, and it is never shown alongside media or scores. Because it is kept in the keychain, it may remain after the app is uninstalled.
Deleting it all. Settings → “Delete All Battles & Replays” removes every battle, replay, still, pose file and stat from the phone. Uninstalling the app removes its storage as well.
4. Anonymous usage statistics
To understand which features are used, the app sends a small number of events to PostHog, an analytics service
hosted in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com). This is the only network traffic the app
generates. Each event is tagged with the app name and the random installation identifier, and carries only the
values listed here:
| Event | Sent with |
|---|---|
battle_started | Mode (rival, pass & play, practice, freestyle) and challenge id |
battle_completed | Result (win, loss, draw, solo) and score tier |
result_shared | Nothing else |
purchase_completed | The product id that was bought |
The analytics library also reports standard app lifecycle events (such as the app being opened) and the usual technical details that accompany any network request: device model, iOS version, app version, language and the network address the request came from. Session replay and screen tracking are switched off. No video, image, pose data, score, name, e-mail address, contact, or precise location is ever sent.
These statistics cannot be linked back to you by us. If you would rather they were not collected at all, you can block network access for the app in iOS Settings; every feature of Aura Clash keeps working offline.
5. Purchases
Premium and the packs are one-time purchases handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes
the payment; we never receive your payment details, name or Apple ID. Ownership is read from the App Store's
transaction record on your device, which is also what “Restore Purchases” uses. The only thing the app records
about a purchase is the anonymous purchase_completed event above.
6. Photos and sharing
If you save a result video, the app asks for permission to add it to your photo library. That permission is add-only: the app cannot read or browse your existing photos.
When you share a result, the video or image is handed to the app you pick (Messages, TikTok, Instagram and so on) using the standard iOS share sheet. From that moment it is governed by that service's own privacy policy, not this one. Aura Clash does not post anything on your behalf and does not know where you shared it.
7. Children
Aura Clash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because there is no account and no upload, the app has no way to receive personal data from a child or from anyone else.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. In practice we hold none: every piece of data about your performances is on your own iPhone, under your control, and the analytics events are anonymous and cannot be tied to a person. If you believe otherwise, or have any question about this policy, write to admin@pwnera.com and we will answer.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting more than described here (for example, if online battles are added), this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the effective date at the top will change. The current version is always at auraclash.pwnera.com/privacy.
